The Igyorov Ward Exco of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state's Gboko Local Government Area has been suspended with immediate effect by the PDP's Benue State Working Committee.
Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, the troubled party's national chairman, was suspended at the direction of Igyorov Ward Exco.
Remember that Mr. Vangeryina Dooyum, the Ward Secretary, and Kashi Philip, the Ward Chairman, had previously revealed that Ayu had been suspended by the Executive for supposed anti-party conduct.
The exco claimed that after reviewing the National Chairman's behaviour at the conclusion of the recently completed general elections, the leadership decided to suspend him.
