The Unity Fountain has been occupied by the demonstrators, who are mainly young people, to vent their rage.

wearing all-black outfits and holding signs that said, "We stand for Justice, we fight for a new Nigeria," among other messages, Who owns Nigeria? "President Buhari keep your word," "Democracy not INECcracy," etc. The demonstrators urged President Muhammadu Buhari to prevent the collapse of Nigeria on behalf of "the people."
