Victor Anozie Alex, a victim who was purportedly killed by suspected herders in the Okumoni community of the Okordia clan, in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has been found dead, according to the Bayelsa State Police Command.
After the herders attack on Monday, a group of locals reportedly searched the jungle for missing members of the community and discovered the body there.
Three people have been killed, including 23-year-old Alex, a Kogi State native.
It was previously reported that the onslaught by ravaging herdsmen last week claimed the lives of two chiefs from the Okordia clan's Zarama and Okumoni communities while injuring a number of others.
