Angry Southeast teenagers accuse military of "killing" five Igbo demonstrators, according to Nnamdi Kanu

In Aba, Abia State, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was the target of allegations that Nigerian army soldiers had killed armless Igbo protesters who were calling for his unconditional release, according to the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, or COSEYL.

The coalition's president general, Goodluck Ibem, called the incident that happened on Friday "wicked, savage, and lawlessness of the highest order" in a statement.

The group requested that the security officers who attacked the protestors be detained right away, fired, and charged.

"We urge the United Nations, the international community, and all supporters of democracy to take action against those responsible for this horrific atrocity.
