Caleb Mutfwang, the Peoples Democratic Party's nominee for governor in Plateau State, has been proclaimed the victor of the Saturday vote.
The announcement was delivered on Monday by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.
After tallying the votes received by the various parties during the election, INEC Presiding Officer Musa Yusuf declared that Mutfwang had received the most votes, defeating Nentawe Yilwatda of the All Progressives Congress.
