Presidential Election: Tinubu won’t win after losing to Peter Obi in Lagos – Atiku’s camp

Bola Tinubu's campaign for president of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was made fun of by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after he lost the state of Lagos.

After being defeated in Lagos State by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, LP, Reno Omokri, a close ally of Atiku, said that Tinubu might not win the election.

Tinubu lost to Obi in Lagos State after receiving 582,354 votes to Obi's 572,606 votes.

Rabiu Kwankwaso, a candidate for the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), received 8,442 votes.

The question Omokri raised on Twitter was: "How can Bola Tinubu still win this election, when he has lost his adoptive state of Lagos, his purported state of Osun, and the seat of power, Abuja FCT?

"Yes, magic and miracles are still conceivable. But Nigerians' votes in the #NigerianElections2023 must be taken into account.

Waziri Atiku will win this election, in my well-informed view, after all LEGAL and VALID ballots have been tabulated. The North has been honorable and has maintained its word.

"We simply request that INEC follow their own norms and processes and upload the #NigerianElections2023 results," the statement reads.
