Breaking: APC suspends Nnamani, Onyeama, and others while ejecting former governors Chime, Okechukwu, and Odo

The expulsion of Barr. Sullivan Chime, a former governor of Enugu State, has been announced by the All Progressives Congress, or APC.

The former Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Eugene Odo, the Director-General of Voice of Nigeria, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, Mr. Flavour Eze, Mr. Joe Mmamel, and Mr. Maduka Arum are also expelled.

The party also expelled Geoffrey Onyeama, the minister of international affairs, and Senator Ken Nnamani, the former president of the Senate.

Mr. Robert Ngwu, the party's Enugu State Secretary, announced the disciplinary measures on Thursday.

He gave the committee's report on discipline.

He said that a meeting of the expanded State Executive Committee approved the report.

They were charged with anti-party acts against the expelled and suspended party members.

They were accused of endorsing candidates from other political parties in the general elections of 2023.
