Today at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja, the Director General welcomed the management team of Capital Express Assurance Limited. He stated that the Scheme would continue to give priority to matters pertaining to Corps welfare in the Scheme's administration.

Brigadier General Ahmed praised CEAL for being consistent in upholding its legal obligations in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding it signed with NYSC and stated that the two organisations should set aside time to periodically evaluate the agreement's implementation in order to spot and address any issues.

In addition, he vowed that NYSC will never fail to fulfil its commitments under the agreement and urged CEAL to continue responding quickly to concerns about corps members' insurance coverage.

Welfare insurance scheme.

She continued by saying that as part of its corporate social responsibility, CEAL does get involved in carrying out unique projects for NYSC.

A vocational centre was recently built and outfitted in the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Keffi, Nasarawa State. We have previously offered technology aids to facilitate the digitising process of the NYSC, she said.

She urged the development of a mutually beneficial relationship in the interest of all Corps Members.
