Former Nigerian legislator Shehu Sani asserted that terrorists are also killing people in Kaduna State's northern region.
They weren't made public, according to Sani, because their leaders wouldn't want to disturb or harm the reputation of the Government, which they believe to be their own.
On Tuesday, he revealed this in a post on his verified Twitter account.
Remember the terrorist attack on the village of Runji in the southern portion of Kaduna on Saturday night? 33 people were confirmed dead.
As the occupants slept, the attackers broke into the neighbourhood.
But according to Sani, because some people opted to remain silent, the world only knows about one side of the tragedy.
"Muslims are also killed by terrorists on a daily basis in the Northern part of Kaduna," he said.
"However, the Northern leaders made the decision to keep quiet in order to preserve the reputation of the Government, which they believe to be their own.
"For this reason, only one side of the tragedy is known to the world."
