In Plateau, gunmen killed a preacher and his two Sons.

At the Ganawuri community in the Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, two of Reverend Musa Hyok's male children were also killed by gunmen.

The tragic occurrence was verified to journalists on Monday in Jos by DSP Alfred Alabo, the Plateau Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).

Alabo claimed that the priest for the Church of Christ in the Nation (COCIN) was assassinated early on Sunday.

The command has launched an investigation to identify individuals responsible, he declared.

According to NAN, Mr. Song Moro, the community's youth leader, claimed that the tragic incident was a retaliatory attack following the killing of three Fulani youths in the neighbourhood.

Trouble began when some suspected Fulani kidnappers were detained last Wednesday, which is our market day, but they later escaped into the hands of Fulani Vigilante who were to retain them till the arrival of security personnel, according to Moro.
