Napoleon Ukalikpe, an APC candidate for the House of Assembly in Rivers State's Ahaoda East Constituency 2, has been abducted in the Obelle community in the local government area of Obio/Akpor.
According to reports, Napoleon was abducted on Saturday morning while he was traveling to his voting location.
The purpose of the occasional shooting, it was learned, was to scatter the crowd.
Ukalikpe was spirited away in the wee hours of today, according to a source from the victim's family named Chima who corroborated the occurrence.
He was abducted at around 8 o'clock in the morning. Hence, we are attempting to get in touch to learn how he will be released but without success.
