Naira Marley has disclosed that he is willing to return to Nigeria if security agencies can assure his safety.

In a candid interview with renowned Nigerian activist Reno Omokri, Naira Marley recently opened up about his concerns and the reasons behind his reluctance to return to Nigeria, particularly in the aftermath of the tragic passing of fellow artist Mohbad.

The sudden and sorrowful demise of the young and talented musician Mohbad sent shockwaves through the Nigerian music community, leaving fans and colleagues in mourning. Shortly after the heartbreaking news broke, various events and circumstances began linking Naira Marley to this unfortunate loss.

These connections, coupled with Naira Marley's absence from the country, have piqued significant interest among the public and government officials alike. Concerns have been voiced by many Nigerians in the midst of mounting suspicions, urging Naira Marley to return home to address the allegations and clear his name if he is indeed innocent.

The prevailing sentiment is that his return could help dispel the doubts surrounding him. Naira Marley, however, has chosen to directly address these issues and express his stance.

During his conversation with Reno Omokri, Naira Marley unequivocally stated his readiness to come back to Nigeria, provided that the security agencies can guarantee his safety.

The addition of actress and activist Iyabo Ojo to the discussion has introduced unexpected twists to the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's untimely demise.

It's worth noting that Naira Marley contradicted earlier tweets from the late musician by asserting in an official statement that neither he nor his team had been involved in any assault on Mohbad. In those tweets from 2022, Mohbad had alleged that Naira Marley personally ordered the violence directed at him.
