Obi beats Atiku: gets over 4,000 votes in Adamawa ward

 

At Muchalla Ward, Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party, defeated Atiku Abubakar, a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party.

The incumbent party in the state is the PDP, and the candidate is from Adamawa State.

Obi received 4,524 votes, Atiku received 1,864 votes, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) received 340 votes, and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) received 31 votes, according to results made public by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
