Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State, claimed that the Central Bank of Nigeria duped President Muhammadu Buhari and that its goal was to thwart the elections.
This claim was made by Oshiomhole during an interview on Sunday's live episode of The Verdict on Channels Television.
The governing All Progressives Congress's (APC) previous national chairman criticized the naira redesign program as being pointless.
He declared, "CBN's naira redesign policy is absurd... The purpose of CBN's deception of Buhari was to halt the elections.
