She pointed out that the prominent founder of The Redeemed Christian Church frequently urges Nigerians to pray for the nation without addressing its underlying problems or holding the government accountable.
DJ Switch emphasized that Jesus himself called out corruption, in contrast to Pastor Adeboye's approach. She wrote, 'Pastor Adeboye often calls for prayer for Nigeria but rarely confronts the root causes of the nation's issues, failing to hold them accountable for their failures to serve. Some may argue 'touch not my anointed,' but what kind of anointing doesn't anoint?'
This criticism came shortly after Pastor Adeboye had prayed for healing in Nigeria during the October Thanksgiving Service and Nigeria's 63rd Independence Day celebration at the church's headquarters in Ebute Metta.
This isn't the first time DJ Switch has taken issue with Pastor Adeboye. Previously, she mocked him for suggesting that God would help Bola Tinubu fix Nigeria and accused him of not speaking out against the APC, despite the party's actions causing suffering and violence among Nigerians."
