On Thursday, gunmen shot and killed Rev. Musa Mairimi, the pastor in charge of the ECWA Church, Buda Two, Kasuwa Magani in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The Kaduna State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. John Joseph Hayab, explained that the attackers stormed the community on Thursday and killed the clergyman in his home. He confirmed the incident on Saturday.
He regretted that the deceased's wife had also been kidnapped by the bandits.
Rev. Hayab further swore that more than 100 persons who were kidnapped from several local government regions, including Kauru, Jaba, Kachia, Kagarko, and Kajuru, are still being held captive after more than six months.
