Atiku, Obi, and others are told by Pa Fasoranti: Don't put Nigeria on fire.

 

On Saturday, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, a former leader of the Yoruba Socio-Political Organization, Afenifere Worldwide, pleaded with Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, the respective presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party, not to ignite Nigeria.

The elder statesman reportedly mentioned this in a congratulations letter to Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, which he personally signed and made available to Naija recent, according to Naija recent.

He appealed on Tinubu's opponents in last Saturday's presidential election and "aggrieved" members of the world community, to 'let the former Lagos State governor to settle down and work'.


"I now make an appeal to all concerned Nigerians and the World Community, who may be offended in some way, to refrain from taking any action that could ignite Nigeria.

"We should all proceed in a peaceful manner, use legal means, and follow proper and legal channels to address any issues that may have, from their perspective, gone wrong.

Pa Fasoranti added, "Let Tinubu and everyone concerned settle down right away to confront the great Nigerian project of tackling insecurity, resolving our economic crisis, restructuring the nation, and reconstructing a nation never so deeply divided along ethnic, religious, and corrupt lines.
