Nigerian hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, known as Odumodublvck, expressed his desire to become the African embodiment of legendary American rappers DMX and 2Pac. He emphasized his aspiration to transcend the label of "just a Nigerian artist" and aims to achieve global superstardom. Odumodublvck shared these ambitions shortly after signing a game-changing contract with the prominent American multinational record label, Def Jam Recordings, in the United States.
In his words, Odumodublvck stated, "In Nigeria, artists often face stigma for using our cultural language. I don't want foreigners to perceive me solely as a 'Nigerian artist.' I aspire to be akin to the reincarnation of DMX... If DMX and 2Pac hailed from Africa."
